The fleet rental sector, which is growing rapidly in Turkey and has a share of up to 25 percent in total automobile purchases, complains about the high prices of zero-kilometer vehicles. UZL Fleet Board Chairman Oğuz Pala noted that a study they conducted clearly revealed the price difference between countries and also proved how astronomical the prices are in Turkey. Pala stated that even students in the USA can buy the Mustang used by wealthy people in our country, and said the following: However, while one Mustang can be purchased for the same amount of money in our country, 5 vehicles can be purchased in the USA. In other words, the situation is quite dire. There is a tax determined in automotive sector, a limit should be set for this. With taxes to be reduced to a more normal level, fleets can buy better cars at affordable costs and offer them to buyers at cheaper prices. In this case, the costs of companies with high vehicle rental expenses will decrease, and their comfort and productivity will increase. The increase in the productivity of companies will also ease the economy, which has already been struggling in recent months. At the same time, the circulation that will occur with the purchase and sale of vehicles will accelerate the money cycle in the market.
